Survival Pack is a self-defense bodyguard app designed to enhance personal safety. Perhaps you work late at night, you're a student on a university campus, or you'd like your family members to have a tool designed to instantly alert you about danger: Survival Pack works at the push of a button!When the "Code Red" feature is enabled and you push the button, each person on your reinforcements list is instantly alerted to your danger and your exact location. The text message continues at 60 second intervals until you disengage the code red. Perfect for students, drivers, shoppers, and practically anyone who's ever had that "feeling" of danger, this bodyguard-type app offers actionable solutions for neutralizing life-threatening situations. Survival Pack Instructions:You can engage the "Code Red" when walking to your car late at night, or any time you feel uncomfortable or suspicious. The button screen will appear and stay on until you are safe. At which point, you just hit the back button on your phone. However, if you are approached and/or feel threatened, simply push the button--everyone on your reinforcements list will be instantly sent a text message that confirms the danger and sends your location. Your reinforcements can call 911, or come to your aid. A screen will appear that says that your phone is locked, and that you've entered the wrong password, don't worry! Your phone isn't locked, you may still operate your phone normally. The Code Red alert will continue to be sent. If you live in a city that offers 911 text, simply add 911 to your list of reinforcements! It's that easy!To disengage the Code Red, you simply long push "wrong password" on the screen that appears when you activate Code Red, then choose "yes" or "no" in the cancel dialog box that appears. The texts will stop and you can then use the back button on your phone to exit the app. To store phone numbers/contacts in Survival Pack: Touch the # button on the home screen. On the reinforcements screen, enter each number in this format: XXX-XXX-XXXX and touch the "store numbers" button to include it on your list. Survival Pack allows you to store six contacts. If you'd like to view or edit your contacts, touch view/edit. You can remove a specific contact by touching it. Another great feature: If you don't want the threat to know that you've sent messages to your reinforcements, simply hit the home button on your phone. The texts will continue until you perform the long pushes that disengage the texting. For "Code Red" to operate properly, your phone's "Location" must be "on" or "enabled."
