This app is designed to help you simply and automatically control your phone ringer. It has been designed to be relatively straightforward to use, whilst giving a reasonable degree of control and automation.It has a number of settings and features that can be configured by you to control your ringer and notification sounds:★ A FLIP PHONE mode:This is used to silence your phone when you have an incoming call. When your phone rings, just flip it over to silence the ringer. This even works for priority interruptions in Android Lollipop! You can also choose whether the flip action silences just the current call, or turns the phone into silent mode, so it doesn’t ring again (see timeout mode below). In Lollipop, this will silence non-priority calls, but priority calls will cause the phone to ring, but they can be silenced by flipping the phone over again when it rings.★ A TOGGLE WIDGET for the home screen:This will toggle the ringer through the settings you configure. You can chose to include Silent, Vibrate only, Sound only or both Sound & Vibrate modes. This is particularly useful if you want to quickly switch vibrate on and off for calls, without going through the system menus. The widget colour and icon indicate the current setting – red for silent, orange for vibrate and green for sound, and the icon changes too.★ A TIMEOUT mode:This can be configured so that when you silence the ringer with this app, either by using the toggle widget or by flipping the phone into silent mode when you have an incoming call, the ringer will be re-enabled automatically after a specified period of time, so that you do not inadvertently leave your device in silent mode, and miss all your calls and notifications. You can specify the timeout duration in hours and minutes.For this mode, you can decide whether or not to display a notification message which will show the time when the ringer will be automatically re-enabled. Selecting the notification or toggling the ringer mode by using the widget, or enabling the ringer through any other means on the phone, such as pressing the volume up key (or setting interruptions mode to All in Lollipop), will immediately re-enable the ringer and cancel timeout mode. You can also chose which ring mode is set when Timeout mode ends – Vibrate only, Sound only or Sound & Vibrate.★ A QUIET mode:This can be configured so that your phone enters silent mode between the specified times e.g. for night time.For this mode, you can decide whether to display a notification message which will show the date and time that quiet mode is scheduled to end. Selecting the notification or toggling the ringer mode through the widget, or enabling the ringer through any other means on the phone, such as pressing the volume up key (or setting interruptions mode to All in Lollipop), will immediately re-enable the ringer and cancel quiet mode. You can also chose which ring mode is set when Quiet mode ends – Vibrate only, Sound only or Sound & Vibrate.You can also manually start or stop the Quiet mode through use of a button on the Quiet settings screen.NOTES:★ This app has been tested and works well on Android Lollipop (some similar apps no longer work in Lollipop due to changes in the way silent mode works).★ This app is also been extensively tested on the following versions of Android: Gingerbread, ICS, Jelly Bean, Kitkat & Lollipop. It has not been tested on Honeycomb, as the app is primarily for phones, and Honeycomb was a tablet only version of Android.★ The app will work on tablets, but you will get a warning message that some functionality has been disabled, and the following items will be disabled: flip mode & vibrate settings.★ Alarms sounds are not controlled by this app.★ Please let me know of any other features you feel may be use to add to this app.
